Dominik Link

I’m Dominik Link, a German artist, producer, and composer creating emotional, cinematic electronic music that blends atmosphere, melody, and storytelling. Growing up in a small town surrounded by forests, I developed a deep appreciation for mood, space, and sound elements that continue to shape my musical style today.

Music has always been part of my life. My father, a professional piano instructor, introduced me to the piano at age five and taught me for over a decade. This early foundation led me to teach piano myself and eventually serve as head of a music school for two years, experiences that strengthened both my musicality and artistic vision.

Alongside my creative path, I studied theology and worked as a youth pastor before returning to my technical profession as a mechatronics technician in the security technology field. This unusual combination of disciplines, technical precision, philosophical depth, and artistic expression, strongly influences how I approach sound design and composition.

My work is driven by emotion, memory, and atmosphere. Personal experiences, including both joy and loss, have shaped the perspective behind my music and continue to inspire the stories I tell through sound.

Today, my goal is to pursue music full time and create pieces that resonate deeply with listeners.
